Developing Referring Customers - Newport News, VA, United States, 23606 - AutoPro Workshop Blog post - Where Professionals Gather for Better Business

Are you just taking care of the customer until the repairs are complete? What are you doing to move your customers from being good customers to great customers that refer you business. It is not hard to meet expectations, meeting expectations creates good customers, but if you want to generate a referral you need to develop great customers. Know your customer and they will know to come back, few businesses can survive by serving a customer only once. You have to develop practices that turn good customers into great referring customers.

Marketing Strategies

The key to successful marketing is knowing what your are trying to achieve. Are you trying to convert an estimating customer into a repair customer? Are you trying to convert a customer into a referring customer? Both of these are valuable marketing opportunities but both require different approaches. JSE Consulting provides strategies for all marketing requirements. Applying what you know about your customer with proven marketing techniques will improve your market share.

The Value of Production Meetings

Remember the body shop days when repair time wasn't a concern? Times have certainly changed, and cycle time is one of our primary concerns in the list of daily challenges. Production Meetings help control cycle time and alleviate challenges collision center managers face on a daily basis. I believe a production meeting has the same function as an orchestra conductor. The orchestra conductor sets the tempo and direction the music will go, he then relies on the orchestra members to carry the notes creating the harmony. Think of your staff as the members of the orchestra and you take the helm as the conductor. Gather your "orchestra" first thing in the morning and cover the particulars of work in process, tune the "music" where necessary to create the "harmony" you need to maintain forward progress with the repairs. You will realize that your staff will work like the orchestra members and carry the tune throughout the day allowing you to utilize you time more effectively on things like marketing.
